Green Party of Kosova (PGJK) The Green Party of Kosova (PGJK) is the only political party in Kosova that puts its main focus on environmental protection. This year makes our tenth anniversary, and in that time we have worked to promote the idea that a clean and healthy environment is a basic human right.  Over the past fifty years of Communist rule and the dictatorship of Milosevic later, our people were denied a voice in their own affairs. This led to many hardships for Kosovars, including our turning our land into the most populated place in all of Europe. Today, over 35,000 children in Kosova have respiratory problems aggravated by poor air quality. Through the hard work of our activists and volunteers from all walks of life, the Green Party of Kosova has made great strides. Out of the 19 political parties that participated in last year’s municipal elections – PGJK finished sixth On November 17th we will have our elections for the first Parliament in a free Kosova. We will work hard to place environmental protection at the top of the people’s agenda, but to do so we need your help. Our party is in dire need of founds.
